John Mayer: A Libra with Foot in Mouth Disease?

John Mayer’s new album, “Born and Raised” drops next week. As befits an album recorded whilst its creator had progressed Moon in Pisces, it’s described as having an ‘unburdening tone’ in Rolling Stone. Progressed Moon in Pisces loves to lay it all out, especially creatively and emotionally. This album is also described as comfortable and honest – Pisces really doesn’t like those boundaries.

It’s being released under a personal Uranus/Jupiter transit of Mayer’s reflecting a fresh sense of direction and tone. I’ve already pre-ordered my copy on ITunes, you?

John Mayer is a Libra, with Mercury in Libra, Mars in Cancer and Venus in Virgo.

My astro gal pal Amy Herring, of http://www.heavenlytruth.com/, commented on his Mercury square Mars aspect. If astrology had a definition for foot in mouth disease, this would be it. To intensify the aspect, it’s applying in his birth chart, which is usually the stronger of the two kinds of aspects. (The other being separating.)

Over the next 12 months, unpredictable Uranus is opposing Venus in John Mayer’s chart (May, August 2010 and February 2011) so we can expect a few more outbursts regarding his views on women and relationships. With Saturn also transiting his Venus (Oct 09, April and July 2010) John can expect to have to take responsiblity for his words and actions in these areas too.
