With both Saturn and Venus now direct, barriers or confusion that prevented progress are now removed or overcome. Energy planet Mars has finally changed signs, for the first time since November, offering new enthusiasm and a fresh sense of direction.
Venus sextiles Uranus (July 2- 6) bringing unexpected change and exciting surprises into the realms of love and beauty. July 3 represents one of those cosmic lines in the sand as Mars enters Libra. Mars doesn’t love being in Libra (it’s the sign of his detriment, where he has to work with others even though he’d prefer the independent approach), but the mere fact of a new Mars vibration (cardinal air vs. mutable earth) brings change.
Mars is essentially refreshed after a looooooong time focussed on the same things. You can now set new challenges or create progress on different objectives. Mars is in Libra until late August.
With Mars in Libra, both the relationship planets, Venus and Mars, are energising air signs. If you want romance or passion, communication is key. This adds further cosmic fuel to the conversational and partnership themes activated by Saturn in Libra and Jupiter in Gemini.
It also makes for some sensational sky viewing. If you’re an early riser, you’ll first see Jupiter, then Venus pop up over the horizon before the Sun comes up. Mars and Saturn are visible from Sun set (high overhead) until around midnight (when they’ll disappear over the western horizon).
The Moon energises Neptune in Pisces on Saturday, which is a day for daydreaming and escape. Creative urges and spiritual inklings draw you into the world of energy and spirit, and away from practical reality.
The second half of 2012 has more of an active, progressive quality than the first six months. If your year so far has been plagued by delays or frustrations, you’ll notice improvements in the coming days and weeks.
The cosmos now offers many chances to engage with the ‘onwards and upwards’ concept. Do you dare take them?
